Description
This painting project addresses the popular tradition of the Fallas of Valencia from a personal and intimate perspective. It aims to explore the symbolism, emotion, and aesthetics of this festival, beyond its touristic aspects, through a body of work that investigates the dimension and ephemerality of Fallas art, from a sensibility that oscillates between celebration and melancholy. Conceived from experience, the work understands the Fallas as a shared, living cultural manifestation that unites generations in the public space. To explore this idea, it is structured in three series—"espolines" (traditional Valencian fabrics), "indumentaria", and "calle" —where each acts as a scene frozen in time, charged with noise, tradition, and affective memory.
